The Tao of Body Detox
The environment we all live in today is vastly different than long ago. Once upon a time the earth was pure and clean with no pollution at all. Today our entire planet is riddled with harmful toxins that make their way into our bodies. We may be accustomed to living this way, but that does not mean it is good for us. The old habits die hard, but the old habits are keeping us down, making us unhealthy and unhappy.

Part of the reason for this stunted lifespan is due to our way of living. We take in harmful pollutants from the environment and poisonous chemicals from our food and drink. We need to rid ourselves of the harmful effects of these chemicals within our bodies, and often the body cannot do this alone. Often the accumulation of toxins is just too much for the body to handle.
Your body and your health will suffer from the buildup of all these toxins. You will have acid reflux and heartburn symptoms, among others.
Watch what you eat - you will find lots of poisonous additives and chemicals in alcohol, coffee, tea, carbonated soft drinks, and even milk. People who smoke are taking in toxins with each inhalation. All of us are subject to the pollution from trucks and automobiles spewing toxins from their tailpipes. Even our body lotions and cosmetics are exposing us to toxins. It appears that civilization can be bad for our health.
We are all subject to harm from all these toxins but we cannot stay away from all of them. That would be impossible. So we are bound to become ill. The best we can do is to look for a way to detox organically.
A detox program can help your system rid itself of these pollutants that have built up in the body. It is not too late to take action to neutralize all the bad stuff that comes with eating junk food and living in a polluted environment.
