Lemon Detox Diet Recipe

Here's the recipe for a lemon detox diet. Use the specific amounts listed and stir, but go easy on the cayenne pepper if you don't regularly eat food with hot spicy ingredients. You'll grow accustomed to it if you allow yourself to get used to it little by little.

2 Tablespoons Lemon Juice (fresh squeezed)
2 Tablespoons of grade B Maple Syrup
1/10th teaspoon of Cayenne Pepper
8 Oz. Pure Water

The ingredients mix together nicely, but the cayenne pepper can seem to be uncomfortably spicy, but it's important to the detox effectiveness. Take your time getting used to it.

If you can drink 8 to 12 glasses of the detox mix per day, you will have the best detox experience. If you are unable to drink that many, be sure to drink at least 6 glasses per day. Drink lots of fresh and pure water all through the day as well.

The lemon detox diet is excellent for weight loss along with detoxing your system. You may feel hungry throughout the process, and when you do just mix up a drink and drink it instead of eating. It takes an average of 3 days to stop feeling hungry. Just one in four dieters may feel hungry throughout the program. Try it and you might be one of the 3 that has no problem with the hunger.

In order to simplify the process if you have places to go and things to do, you can make up a lemon juice and maple syrup concentrate. Add water and pepper when it's time for you to have a drink. The best scenario is to mix it up right before you drink it so the lemon enzymes are preserved, but sometimes that's not possible.

Tips for Lemon Detox Drink Success
To give yourself enough mix to get you through the work day assuming that you will drink 3 drinks in that time, mix up the concentrate in appropriate amounts. Squeeze 6 tablespoons of fresh lemon juice and add it to 6 tablespoons of maple syrup. Take 3 bottles of pure water with you but make them 10 oz bottles or bigger so you have room for the mix and the 8 ounces. Along with the mix and water bottles, pack a measuring spoon, and the cayenne pepper, too. The pepper can be added to the concentrated mix if you wish. Be warned that if you do that, however, the pepper will get hotter in the liquid as it sits over time. Shake the concentrate before adding as it may settle and separate with time. Add 4 tablespoons of mix to a bottle when it's time for a drink, add cayenne, shake, and then drink it.

Try your best to distract yourself if you get hunger pains. If you find something to busy yourself with, the hunger will pass. Detox diet time might be the best time ever to get your house cleaned. Hungry? Mix up a drink and drink it, then go clean that closet or bookshelf. When you finish your house will look as good as you do.

If housecleaning isn't possible or desirable, there are other things you can do to distract yourself from the hunger pains. Mild exercise helps to get your mind going in other directions. Whatever you do, keep up the detox drinks, drink plenty of water, and look forward to the results.
