7 Day Liver Detox

For your first meal of the day you should consume fruit and a bit of rice. At mid-day and in the evening, vegetables will be your meals. Get four different types daily to guarantee you're getting all the vitamins necessary to fuel your detox. This week especially, keep away from preservative-laden foods, flour, fatty foods, tea, coffee and sugar.
Here's what to eat instead:
- Beans are great – get pintos, kidney beans, peas, garbanzos, adzukis and just
your basic legumes
- Rice cakes, rice pasta, and crackers plus brown rice
- Veggies such as artichokes, broccoli, cauliflower, garlic, onion and other
green or red veggies
- Whole grains including quinoa and amaranth, and as a substitute for your rice
you can try buckwheat
- Fruit of course, and it should be organic
- Nuts are also good, so stock up on sesame, sunflower and / or pumpkin seeds
plus almonds and cashews with no salt added
